Palomino Hostel

I chose Palomino for its proximity to Palomino Guajira, which I really wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the 24-hour front desk, room service, and currency exchange available for guests. The accommodation also had free WiFi, which was a bonus. The beds were comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The hostel's location, between bars and restaurants, was perfect. The outdoor swimming pool and bar, as well as the garden, added to the overall experience. The à la carte or American breakfast offered by the accommodation was also a great option.

Doors don't close properly.

Super cheap price. Great location, close to restaurants and stores. Nice kitchen, area to hang out in hammocks. Private room with ensuite, clean and spacious. Communal kitchen well equipped. Staff very nice and helpful. Such a bargain in town.

The beds were comfortable, and the food was delicious. a great experience.

If you seek a peaceful stay in Palomino, don't choose Palomino. It's located right behind a loud club, and the room felt dark and cramped.

Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, always trying to find solutions to any problems. Wendy, the manager, was incredibly warm and welcoming. The outdoor area was mind-blowing, with plenty of hammocks and seating for relaxation. The location was perfect, just off the main road to the beach, making it reasonably quiet at night. The kitchen facilities were top-notch, both indoor and outdoor. a fantastic experience!

We had a blast with our friends playing darts and hanging out in the vibrant common area. The staff was super chill and made sure we had a great time. Can't wait to party with them again!

We wished there was a dedicated dance floor or a DJ in the hostel. It would have taken the party vibes to the next level and made it the ultimate spot for young party-goers like us.

Staff wonderful, average age 10. Perfect location, between beach and main road. Clean bathroom upon arrival. Best value for money. Private bathroom in dorm, with fan and lockers. Hostel staff kind and helpful. Good energy, friendly atmosphere. Great connection to charge devices.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Our experience at this hostel in Palomino was fantastic. the staff, who all seemed to be around ten years old, were absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home. the location was perfect, situated between the beach and the main road, but still quiet enough as it was tucked away just a short distance off the main road. the common area had plenty of space, including hammocks and seats, where we could relax and enjoy a book or play card games. It was beautifully lit at night, creating a cozy atmosphere. there were both outdoor and indoor kitchens, providing ample space for cooking meals.

Cons: Nothing to fault.

I had an amazing value for my money at this hostel! The dorm was spacious, the beds were comfy, and there were plenty of power sockets for everyone to charge their devices. The location was perfect, with all the restaurants nearby and just a short walk to the beach. The staff, especially Wendy, were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Food for breakfast could have been better.

I recently stayed at a great value hostel in Palomino for a few nights. Wendi, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. The dorm room I stayed in was spacious with large lockers available. The outdoor area was lovely, with plenty of seating and outlets. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-equipped and the owner was very accommodating. a cheap and cheerful place to stay with a good location near the beach.

palomino exceeded my expectations. spacious dorm room with big lockers, kind and helpful staff, and a beautiful outdoor area with lots of outlets. great location near restaurants and 10 mins from the beach. plenty of vegetarian options. comfy bed, working wifi. Wendy and her mom are lovely. gracias por todo!
